We are pleased to introduce Phoebe! She is a 1 year old purebred Jack Russell Terrier, who recently came to our rescue as an owner surrender, (due to lack of time). Phoebe is smart, extremely praise motivated, and learning quickly. She is mostly housebroken. She does have occasional accidents, but with patience and praise she is having great success. Currently she goes out on schedule every 2-3 hours and has started to alert if she needs out. She sleeps in a crate at night, however she does not enjoy being crated during the day. For these reasons she would do best in a home where she will have minimal time alone. She does have high energy typical to jack russells in spurts, but is also very content to snuggle and sleep. She currently has 2 large foster sibblings (60+lbs) who she loves to play with, and did live with a cat in the past. A fur sibbling would be ideal in her forever home to help burn off some of her energy. She seems to love all people and dogs. She has a very rough and tumble style of play. When playing she can get mouthy, but she does not bite. She continues learning manners and boundaries. Phoebe is a very smart loving little girl, who is looking for a home that will provide her balance of structure, play, and snuggles.
