Ziti is a very loving, affectionate and playful pup who spent his first years living in a cage. He has quickly grown accustomed the freedom of being a family pet. He loves back rubs and massages, running and sniffing the interesting outdoors and sitting in the shade and sleeping with his family. He has learned to sit nicely for his treats and takes them gently. Ziti gets along well with cats and other dogs of many different ages. He growls at the puppy, but they both just wag their tails and she rolls over. He reminds me of a grumpy old man who really doesn’t mind. She follows him everywhere and he loves it. I believe he prefers to be dominant and is jealous when sitting next to me and another pup receives my attention. He never is aggressive, other than pawing and offering insistent kisses.

Ziti has a healthy appetite. He takes medicine for his heart but doesn’t know it. The rescue has had him evaluated by a specialist who did an ultrasound. The murmur heard by his veterinarian is “not as bad as it sounds” and given a very good prognosis. He has since been neutered and most of his teeth removed. Ziti is active and follows me everywhere. He does love his outdoors.

If an older dog is a consideration for your family, please complete an application. He is a pleasure to have with my family. I’d keep him, in a heartbeat, if I thought that would be best for him. He deserves a family of his own with all the love and peace he so deserves.
