Bean is an 18 month old beagle who has had a tough early life. She has been jostled around between a research facility, a first foster home she was not comfortable in and now with her foster family through Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue. She is missing her right ear which had to be amputated due to an infected tattoo and has the number they assigned her tattooed inside her left. Despite all of this she is a very well-adjusted pup. She is engaging and playful and also very affectionate. She is good with children and other dogs. She can be a little temperamental if her foster brothers or sisters get too close during diner time but it’s a little growling and chasing off nothing overly aggressive. She does get a little timid around loud noises or quick unexpected movements, which can probably be attributed to her past but with some gentle reassurance she is just fine. She would probably thrive best in a quieter, relaxed atmosphere. She is , for the most part, housebroken although there can be accidents if left alone for extended periods of time. She will sleep in a crate overnight but is ready to come out when she knows the humans are awake. She is a very docile, lovable dog who wants nothing more than to be with her people. She will be a great addition to a loving family looking to give her the forever home she deserves
