Buddy is an english bulldog who turns 6 on September 25th! He was tearfully surrendered to Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue when his health issues got to be too much to manage for his family. Buddy has severe allergies, and despite being on apoquel and a high quality food, his skin is all red and irritated. He also has what appears to be dry eye and entropion in both eyes. His gait is also an issue and we suspect he has either a spine issue such as spondylosis or a severe knee issue. He cannot do stairs at all and frequently, his back legs give out underneath him.

Buddy has been a real trooper in his foster home so far, being an excellent paitient for his medicated baths, ear cleaning, coconut oil all over his skin and even nose butter! Buddy loves 2 things the most- his bed and BANANAS!!! He has been great with his foster sisters, but especially clings to his foster dad.

Buddy will be needing xrays of his spine, hips and knees to start. He will also a need a consult with an ophthalmologist, meds for dry eye and bilateral entropion surgery. It's possible he may need some therapy in the furture as well. Please donate to Buddy's care if you can, his vet bills will be steep.
