Hello, Noel here. I'm a four-year-old "Fruggle." What kind of dog is Fruggle?! Don't worry, I get that a lot. I'm a French Bulldog/Beagle/Pug mix who, before arriving into the loving arms of Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue, spent years raising litter after litter of puppies over and over again. When I arrived, I wasn't sure how to even drink from a water bowl. Can you believe it? I have come SO far. I'm becoming more and more used to the simplicities of the life of a dog. You know, things like raw bones from Wegmans, fish taco toys from my foster sibling's BarkBox, and even time spent on the fluffy brown couch. I get along well with my canine foster siblings, big and small. In fact, I prefer to be in the company of other dogs as I feel more comfortable and it gives me confidence. Someone mentioned something about a cat? I've never met one but I don't think I'd mind having one of those furry things around either. I'm easy going. I've learned to eliminate outside, but boy is it COLD here in Upstate New York! I'm crate trained and while leash walking is still new to me, I'm doing okay. I feel more comfortable walking along side my foster friend, Toby a small Chihuahua. While I've enjoyed learning about my new lease on life here in my foster home, I'm ready to find a loving forever family to call my own. My perfect family must be patient with me as I'm still building confidence and learning to trust humans. Once I'm confident, I'm sure honing my manners will be easier to master. As I mentioned, I sure do love other dogs, so I'd prefer a canine brother or sister or both. I like children and at Christmas met a young girl who was ALSO a foster! We were quite the pair. Anyway, I'm off to steal another sock out of the laundry basket. Tata for now. Love, Noel.
