Sweet little Phoebe.... She was a breeder release and now she's learning how to be a family pet. One of the most remarkable things about Phoebe is her desire for affection and cuddling. Pugs by nature enjoy cuddling and being lap dogs. Phoebe is very loving and snuggly. Her fur is soft as a mink and when she cuddles on your neck it's the most wonderful feeling! Phoebe gets along with the resident foster pugs and cats. She will do best in a home with dogs  her size or smaller.  She has not been exposed to  children ,but older children who can be respectful of her fear issues will be best.Breeder release dogs are extreme flight risks, therefore a fenced in yard will be required. Phoebe  is not house trained at all! She will go when you take her outside and put her in the grass so it is something that we're working on. Her new family will have to be patient and understanding while she continues to work on this concept. Everyday she learns more about how to be a pug. She still cowers and " pancakes"(goes flat to the ground) when approached or if you try to pick her up. She does  not walk on a leash. Please  keep in mind these are things that she can learn with time and patience. It will have to be a very special family that adopts her and who understands this.
