Tupelo is a 4 year old former puppy mill momma. She is adjusting well to life out of the mill and enjoying so many firsts. She loves riding in the car, going to work with her foster mom, or just staying home and sleeping in her spot on the couch. She is a big fan of chewing boxes, any cardboard, magazines and just loves flip flops. We swap these out for antlers and benebones, which she is quite happy to get. She does very well with her 5 laid back foster sisters. She really loves and needs the company of other dogs, but pays more attention to her humans. She is very heat intolerant and cannot be outside longer than to go potty when necessary. She cannot go for walks in the heat, and needs to be in a home with central air. She does love her foster home's fenced in backyard, and it would be nice to find her a home with a yard since she will not do well on walks.

She is currently getting medicated baths for her skin infection, which is clearing nicely. She will need to remain on a high quality, grain-free and poultry-free diet. Joint supplemets are also suggested. She needs her face wrinkles wiped daily. She is not yet housebroke, and in true puppy mill momma fashion, may never be 100% fully housebroke. She is doing great, but still has accidents in the house. She prefers to not be crated, so she wears britches when we are not home. 

She has a hernia and will be having surgery on September 19th to repair it. After she recovers and is cleared by her vet, she should be able to go up for adoption.
