This little guy has many things going for him! He's four years old - not too young and not too old, he's just  right… He is crate trained,it is his safe haven. He keeps his crate clean and will let you know when he wants to go outside!  He will bark or scratch at the glass of the patio door when he needs to go out. This is particularly surprising since he came from a puppy mill where he wasn't given the option to go outside for potty purposes. We leave the crate door open and he often goes in there to take a nap or to just rest. He will allow you to pick him up if you are gentle and take your time.  He has tolerated a couple baths in his foster home  and a couple of careful nail trims. He wears a puppy bumper collar so that he doesn't squeeze through an opening in the fence, he has no problem wearing it- it's like a little pillow for him and keeps him safe. He will eat out of his foster's hand if she's on his level. He's  not picky about dog food as long as it's soft.  His teeth are not in great condition and his new family will need to take him for a dental. He really needs a quiet home no small children or loud noises.  He will jump at unfamiliar sights and sounds. He is not a cuddler (yet), hopefully with time and patience he will become a tiny couch potato. He needs someone with time to devote to his socialization. He is fine with the pugs in his foster home but has not bonded with either one of them. He should live in a home with a fence and a small canine buddy would be nice!
