Meet Darling!  Her name fits her so well as she is a complete "Darling" !  She is an 18 month old Dapple Daschaund , she loves to run across the yard and jump into your lap !  A fenced in yard is prefered for her but not a requirement.  Darling gets along fine with her furry foster brothers and sister after a proper introduction.  She takes treats easily out of your hand and walks wonderfully on a harness and leash.  Darling is house trained, but as always, accidents will happen when adjusting to a new enviornment.

Darling bonds quickly to her new human and does have some gaurding behaviors when it comes to them, we are working on this.  She will give a low growl to protect her person from the person coming to near them.  It is only with other people not animals. For this reason she is looking for a home with NO children under 10 years of age.  Her new person will have to be willing to keep reinforcing training to correct this behavior, as she is still a pup and learning.

Darling is a beautiful girl who really loves to play and be loved, she loves belly rubs and her people.  Anyone who know the Doxie breed is familiar with their loyalty.
