Barney is a 6 year old male Shih Tzu / Pomeranian mix, he is a sweet little guy who has had a rough few years but that has not hinder his ability to be funny and loveable.  Barney is great with kids and people but sadly has been attacked not once but 3 times by large breed dogs.  Needs less to say he is terrified of big dogs !  Still he shows no aggression he simply hides and shakes in fear.  He loves to cuddle with his person and he is house and crate trained.  He plays well with his 2 foster Pug brothers and his human brother as well. 

Barney was once so severly matted that the matts where down to his skin and blocking off his ability to defecate properly.  So he is sensitive with grooming but LOVES baths!  He will need his coat groomed and brushed regularly to prevent matting.  Patience and gentleness will be key here.  He is spunky and occasionally likes to see what he can get away with but he takes correction well and listens to the boss of the house LOL.

Barney would be perfect in any home situation that has a dog that is not big. He is a pure pleasure to have around and will let you know if someone has entered your yard !
