We can't help but hear Stevie Wonder singing "Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful?" when talking about puppy Adeen! This petite and pretty pup's name means "Little Fire" in Gaelic. It was chosen for her because she is certainly spunky and full of fire! We believe Adeen is an Aussie/Terrier cross, but we really have no definitive breed. Our best guess is that she will be around 30 to 35 pounds when full grown. Adeen is just a baby, so she has typical unruly puppy dog manners, like nipping and being a bit rambunctious at times. However, since she came to rescue 2 weeks ago she has already made great strides with much needed structure, routine, and correction provided to her by her foster family. She is crate training and coming along nicely on her housebreaking. She does ok on a leash, but will continue to improve with time and age. Our little girl lives with kids aged 9 to 15 and loves them all. We wouldn't recommend toddlers for Aden because of her tendency to nip and chew while she's teething. Her puppy teeth are still very sharp. Adeen also lives with 3 other large breed male dogs who she simply adores. She loves to play with the big dogs, and especially enjoys snuggling up with her pit mix foster brother Chance on the couch. We can't wait for Adeen to find her forever family. If you think she would be the perfect addition to your home, please apply today. We don't see her being with us very long! Before applying, we ask that you please take time to think about what it takes to bring a new puppy home. Puppies are a 10 to 15 year commitment, and will need much patience while growing and learning to be the perfect dog. Puppy classes upon adoption are always strongly recommended for ANY new puppy adopters.
