Isn't Sky just beautiful? She came into rescue from a puppy mill in Ohio. There she has lived her entire life in a small cage. The world around Sky is so big and a little intimidating right now. She is still a little afraid but is coming out of her shell. Sky is in search of a forever family who understands that time and patience is really all that she needs. Sky would do best in a home with another dog to show her the way, and give her confidence in her new home. Sky loves to play with other dogs. In fact that is when she is the happiest. She is fully crate trained and loves the comfort of her crate. She is not a barker, nor does she chew. The idea of a leash is brand new to her so she has no idea what to do on one, so walks may not be for her for a little while yet. With training she may learn to like them. Right now we are working on house training and actually, she has been doing excellent on that. Sky even has a "tell" when she has to go. Sky will pace back and forth when its potty time. She has learned that from the other dogs in her foster home. The sky's the limit when it comes to what this little girl is capable of given time!
