Gracie Lou is a Maltese whose first three years were spent as a mill mommy and the experience has made her very wary of humans. She is nervous when approached but will rest comfortably once held. She experiences separation anxiety and will cry unless another dog is near and would do best in a home with a canine companion.

 If kept in a restricted area, Gracie Lou will use a pee pad and she is working on potty training. A calm and quiet home will help Gracie Lou learn to trust and finally enjoy life as a dog.
