Oliver is a very shy four-year-old Shih-Tzu/Pekinese mix  that was surrendered by his owner because he was being aggressive to children in the house. At first Oliver was very fearful, but has been coming out of his shell in his foster home. He has several pug siblings in foster care and tolerates them but is not friendly and would prefer to be the only dog. His owner told us  Oliver's best friend was a cat in the house and that he was scared to death of large dogs. Oliver's house manners are excellent and he loves to go outside and go for a walk. In the house he has his own corner where he feels safe, but has learned to come up on the bed for short periods of time. He enjoys the company of this person and will be a very affectionate companion and friend. With time and a quiet home Oliver will continue to come out of his shell and blossom into a wonderful dog.
