Lucas is the tiniest little Chihuahua boy we've seen in awhile. He is brand new to our rescue, so we will update his profile soon. For now we can tell you that he is very timid, and can take some time to relax around new people, but once he knows you mean no harm he is happy to snuggle up and cuddle with you all day and night. He was found as a stray in Kentucky, so this explains his shy demeanor. We can only imagine what he was exposed to on the streets. We suggest a home with older children for now only because little kids can easily injure such a small dog without ever meaning to. Stay tuned for updates on lil Lucas' progress!

**Pupdate 2/15**. Lil' Lucas is doing so well in his foster home.  Foster mom reports that he's a sweetie pie like we thought.  He's definitely scared of small children, so we're going to say 12 and older for him.  He's great with other dogs that won't trample him and has no problems with kitties either. He is housebroken, eager to learn & please, and is crate trained.  He loves his crate and goes right to it for naps & bedtime.  This adorable little man is READY for his forever home and we are ready to help him find it!  Please submit an application today!
