UPDATE: 3/7/16 Gabbi is an 11 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russel Terrier.  I am not the typical energenic Chihuahua or JRT , I love to snuggle and sleep with my brothers and sister. I am very laid back. If I am cuddling with my Mom and another person or dog gets too close I will growl , so for this reason and because I am a senior the rescue feels it is best if I go to a home with no kids under 12.  I am perfectly potty pad trained, I hate getting wet or going outside when it is cold, Mommy instills good behaviors in me by making me go outside but sometimes I will still come back in and use my papers. Ok... so I am a little set in my ways BOL!  When I came to BP&SBR I had a horrible skin issue from fleas and bad food, that has all cleared up and I have re grown most of my fur again. My belly seems to have been the worse and still has missing fur, a sweater covers it in the cold weather!  I must eat only grain free food please and get daily Omega 3 Oil to keep my skin in tip top shape. I sleep in my crate during the day with the door open and probably would at night as well. I may not be a young pup but I have a lot of love to share if you have a soft spot for the seniors.

Update: Gabbi is oh so sweet and loves to cuddle. She will always need a special diet with omega 3's but we think she's worth it. She does well in a multi dog home. Gabbi hasn't lived with young children or cats so she'd need to be checked if your home has any. We don't know if her fur will ever fully return but we think she's beautiful just the way she is, if you agree and would like to make her a member of your family please apply.

Sweet Gabbi is a senior girl who battles chronic skin infections and allergies. Her foster mom has just started her on a new regimen to hopefully finally rid poor Gabbi of this condition. She will be available for adoption when medically able.
