Greta Marie was surrendered to a High Kill Shelter in NYC with her baby. (We fought to get him too, but the shelter would not release him.)She is a very small girl, and can curl up right in her foster mom's lap. She has the shiniest, prettiest brindle coat. She is STUNNING! Unfortunately, her ears were cropped as short as they could be without hacking off her entire ear, but we just think it adds to her originality. PUPDATE! Greta's foster mom sent us a little update for this gorgeous gal for the new year: Greta is a 2-3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/mix. Greta came to us from a shelter in NYC several months ago. In that time we have found her to be a sweet loving girl. We affectionately call her Greta Grunt, as she has her own unique snort. She continues to show her love for her people and her foster fur siblings. Greta is content to curl up on your lap and snuggle, but enjoys going for walks and playing with her toys. Greta plays well with other dogs, but does not care for cats. Greta would do better in a cat free home.
