Coffee is a very devoted and loyal companion to his people once he know he can trust them. The start of his life left him with not much reason to trust but he still is willing and WANTS too ! In the beginning he will be stand-offish and defensiive, his first few days in foster he hid behid the furniture uncertain of his surroundings or what was to become of him I am sure. Left to relax and explore on his own he slowly came out of his shell and blossomed into the snuggle bug he is. Coffee loves to sit next to you, burrow down into the covers and keep your legs and feet warm at night.

Coffee loves to walk and play outside and the more he gets to do this the better he seems to feel physically and mentally.  Because Coffee's pelvis is tilted forward he gets stiff quickly and needs to be able to get up and move around so a crate is NOT recommended for an extented period of time. He is a great boy outside of it so he really has no need for one. He does need some assistance going upstairs or to get on to the furniture with you.
