Mr. Jack and Lucy Lou are a ten year old bonded pair who have been together since birth. They were litter mates living in NYC until one of their owners became ill with cancer and is requiring a bone marrow transplant. Jack is as healthy as an ox. He's 28 pounds, but lean. He is not at all overweight. He is just a BIG guy. Lucy is smaller at 21 lbs.She has had spinal surgery at some point in her life. She did not fully recover and has some weakness in her rear legs. This does NOT slow her down. She is just as active as her brother, with an extra wiggle to her wobble. She even chases the other dogs around the yard! Feisty! They  are super loveable, always making us laugh. Both are housebroken and crate trained. They are happy to bounce around the back yard when the sun is shining. Really they are happiest just lying around on various dog beds scattered around the house.Lucy likes to be on your lap.Jack will tolerate it for a few minutes, but he's more of the independent type. In their foster home they are allowed on the couch, this seems to be a relatively new adventure and both have been enjoying participating in the nightly pug blanket times 4! They are dog friendly and don't mind their big goofy lab foster sister or their attention  seeking pug foster siblings Max and Lola. They are fine with cats too. Jack and Lucy are incredibly laid back and enjoying the senior lifestyle.
