Mr. Maxwell is a handsome senior malti-poo gentleman.  In his golden years, he has decided he'd rather relax in the company of adults.  Kids just aren't for him.

Max is still settling into his foster home, but we think he'd be best as an only dog or with other males. Definitely NO children. He is threatened by their presence and will give warning to those who come too close.  Unfortunately, we think Max wasn't treated very nicely in the past, as he is very hand shy and will flinch as you walk by.  He will need patience and a lot of TLC for him to realize that not all people are abusive.  Don't let that scare you though, he is very cuddly and sweet.  He loves a lap to sit in more than anything. He's also a big fan of car rides!  He deserves someone with an extra large & understanding heart to live the rest of his days in bliss.

He will be going in for his neuter surgery in the next week or so, then he will be available for adoption. Applications are welcome any time.
