Barre is learning the ropes of rescue and how to be a good dog.  He will be available for adoption soon.

Barre ( soon to be re named )  has had a very hard time in life from what we can see and it has left him very afraid and insecure especially in new situations.

We are not going to lie to you he has a lot of personality quirks that people have refused to understand and keep in mind for his safety. He is also a very loving funny little guy that wants nothing more than a person to love and cuddle with.

Barre is crate trained and housetrained and although his really does not like the company of other dogs is just fine with cats!          

Barre is not good with children so please a no child household is a must for this guy! His ideal home would be a quiet person or couple who can understand he takes awhile to warm up to strangers so meeting of friends must be a hands off approach.

Barre takes correction well with just a simple "Hey" or "NO" , his behavior is all fear and some possessiveness especially around his crate and person. But again , to his people he is fine .
