Natalia was found running stray on Easter Sunday. One of our volunteers went to pick her up and after waiting through her stray hold with no sign of her owners, Natalia has now become a part of our rescue.

We know very little about Natalia's past, just that she was filthy, wearing a dirty collar with a latch hanging off of it when she was found. It appears that she might have been chained out and gotten loose.  Natalia has been relocated to Buffalo and her new foster mama sent us this update:

Don't believe what you've heard about bully breeds! They can be the most dedicated, loyal dogs you've ever experienced. Nat is an amazing dog! She amazes me on a daily basis. Nat wants nothing more than to be close by your side and to know she can depend on you. We don't know what she's been through in her past, but what I can tell you is she is the now, and she is willing to share her home with others. We live with 5 dogs currently and 3 cats and she does well. She would do best w/ kids over 5 since she is still working on her jumping manners and we wouldn't want her to hurt anyone accidentally. Nat has no food aggression w/ humans or animals. She takes treats ever so gently and you can take her food away or put your hand in her dish with no trouble. She walks beautifully on a leash. We are working on being crated. She is just learning that its not a punishment, and she's doing well in one. Nat is highly adaptable and with the right leadership will be the best companion anyone could ever dream of. Bully breeds need need to be kept active so they don't get in trouble. Please give her a chance at the happily ever after she deserves. She won't disappoint!
