Meet Melvin! This handsome stud of a boston terrier boy was found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter. His owners never came for him and Melvin took the fast lane to our rescue where he’d be safe from euthanasia and be loved for the perfectly imperfect boy that he is.

Melvin is about 9 years old. He’s an absolute love, but seems to be a dog that has aged roughly. He was so filthy when he arrived and had obvious cataracts that have made him nearly blind. We can’t imagine how scary it must have been for the poor boy to be wandering alone and not being able to see where he was going. Melvin does well with other dogs, however he does sometimes bump into others and bark. Goofball! He means no harm- it’s more like he’s saying “Hey, move it! You saw me coming!” His teeth reflect his age but aside from that and his vision, he is in good health. He is ready to become the latest senior companion to your family.
