Have you ever met a dog and just instantly fell in love? That’s what happened to me. You can consider me a ball of mush in Macho’s paws! 

Macho is about 1 year old and as his dashing good looks show, he’s a Chihuahua boy. Macho’s story is a sad one. He’s spent most of his life tied out in the backyard both day & night. When a neighbor questioned his owner about bringing him inside with the cold weather approaching, Macho’s owner made it clear that she didn’t want him and would be more than happy for someone to take him. That’s where our rescue came in. Macho is now living in a foster home for the first time. We’re not sure why Macho was tossed out into the backyard. Maybe he grew out of his puppy purse?

Macho is so cute- he’s not overweight but has a stocky little frame. When he’s interested in something, he’s got the cutest little wrinkles on his forehead.  Macho is great with other dogs- and quite fond of the ladies (he’s being neutered ASAP at one of our vets!) He is friendly, takes his treats nicely and we think he’d do fine in a home with children who will be respectful of his small size.
