Charley is a wonderful dog! She gets along with everyone (people and animal alike) and nothing seems to bother her.  There are two cats in her foster home. She ignores one and occasionally chases the other one, but without malice.  Charley comes alive outside, she loves running around, sniffing and playing and will check back with you to make sure you’re still out there with her.   In the house she is calm and doesn't get into any trouble. The couch is her favorite place to be watching over everything. She also seems to be housebroken and will pace around when she wants to go out.  She is a little watch dog and will bark when someone is at the door, but its not obnoxious and she will quiet down immediately when asked.   Charley does have a problem with her right eye. It is chronically dry because it doesn't produce tears. Thankfully the solution is a simple one, artificial tear ointment 2-3 times a day keeps her eye moist and keeps her comfortable.  

Since Charley loves to be outside playing a fenced in yard or an outdoorsy person would be an ideal for her so she can go for lots of walks.  Having another dog for her to play with would be a bonus.  She is an absolutely lovely creature and would make any family complete.
