Please meet Miss Pea! This pretty lady was surrendered to our rescue because her owner was facing some financial hardships that made her unable to keep Miss Pea.

This girl is just about 2 years old and a mix of Pug and Jack Russell Terrier. She is a FABULOUS girl! All the hard work has already been done. Miss Pea is housebroken, obedient and knows some commands like sit, stay, shake and speak. She is a loving girl; happy to wash your face or sit on your lap. Miss Pea is about 25 lbs, but she truly thinks she is a lap dog and we love her for it. She is great with other dogs and cats as well. She is used to living with cats in her former home and also in her foster home. She's very interested in toys and can catch tennis balls in mid-air. Miss Pea is good with children as well. She walks okay on the leash but could use a little work with pulling. We'd like to see Miss Pea go to a home with a fenced in yard. We were told by her previous owner that she will chase cars and bikes (oh there's gotta be a little Jack Russell in there somewhere). We'd feel more comfortable if she had a fenced in area to safely play in.
