Gabby is a very sweet, very happy Chihuahua mix. She was surrendered because her elderly owner could no longer care for her.
Gabby loves to play and going for walks and car rides. She pulls a bit on the leash but she makes up for that by jumping over puddles to keep her paws nice and clean. She is very playful and loves toys. If you give her a treat, don’t be surprised if she tosses it in the air and pounces on it before she eats it! She loves to chase balls and play tug. She is also quite vain and will often sit and stare at herself in the mirror.
She is very much a lap dog and she gives endless amounts of kisses. She gets along well with other dogs and will greet other dogs politely but she does get a little nervous around groups of rowdy dogs. When she gets nervous, she will want to sit in your lap or she will try to move to a quieter corner away for the commotion.
Gabby is not used to the crate so she will need to be lured in with some high value treats like hot dogs but once inside, she does just fine. However, Gabby does great outside of the crate too. She is completely housebroken and is only interested in chewing on her bully stick.
