Lucy is an amazing little 2 year old Shih Tzu. She came to us from a shelter in Kentucky after being overlooked because she wasn't what most would view as “perfect.”

Lucy has a birth defect. One of her front legs is deformed and she actually has 2 feet on that leg. We consulted with our veterinarians to see if we should amputate and they recommended leaving Lucy just the way she is because she does rely on that leg for balance. It doesn't hold Lucy back- she can zip through the yard with the other dogs just fine. Lucy is a phenomenal girl. She gets along perfectly with all other dogs and is quite a gentle snuggly little girl.
