Millie is a 3 year old Boston Terrier who came to us from an area breeder after he decided he was done using her body. Millie has been a mommy before, but is now spayed and we're helping her begin the next chapter of her life.

Millie arrived rather nervous. Her foster home is the first home she's ever lived in. She was nervous about being touched or picked up and struggled to get a grip and walk on the smooth flooring in the house. Millie is wearing a harness and leash in the house for easier handling, however she's really been coming along very well. Here's a note from her foster mom:

"Millie is progressing in leaps and bounds, She is starting to respond to her name, she is starting to let me pet her head, back, legs and seems to enjoy it! She is following me all over and is beginning to play with toys. She has been playing with her foster brother Frankie! They love chasing each other around the yard. He's the only one I have that likes to play as rough and tumble as she does. She has energy and just bounces when she is outside, she just seems so happy to be free! In the house, she settles down and is mellow. She gets along with the other dogs and is learning some of the dog language and manners, she is a little intimidating to my smaller ones only cause she kind of rushes up on them, not aggressive just interested and playful.She is a very nice dog and very smart. She has had no accidents in the house and goes right out and comes back in when i call her. My dogs are teaching her, I can't take credit :) She would make a great companion for someone who is willing to take it slow and have patience and wants a smart, playful,energetic sweet girl."
