Missy is a sweet little10 week old puppy found by a dumpster a few days after her littermate was found there. Missy and her sister were transported to our rescue so we could find them their happily ever after.
Here's a note from Missy's Foster Mom: "Missy is pretty well housebroken at this point. She has not had an accident in my house, except on the piddle pads, which she knows how to use very well and only uses if I don't get her out in time. She is also VERY intelligent. In the few days I've had her, she has "sit" almost down. She responds very quickly to training. She's very playful and will need an active family, at least now while she's young. She does NOT respond well to crating. She cries and cries nonstop, and gets herself very worked up. But the moment I put her in a dog bed at the foot of my bed, she has been fine, and slept through most nights with only a few potty breaks here and there. I would recommend she be put in a safe room of the house (no cords/chemicals, etc.) that is baby gated off when her family has to be away. I've done this with her for short periods, and left her with a few toys and she's done very well. No damage, and she seems fine when I return home."
Missy is a lovely puppy deserving of a lovely home. Please be sure that you understand that adopting a puppy is a huge commitment. She will need lots of training and socialization to grow into a well balanced adult dog. Puppies also require time and patience, so please make sure you are ready for all this little bundle of joy will require before applying!
