Meet Faith. This pretty little princess was turned into a high kill shelter by a breeder because she didn't sell. Faith arrived at the shelter a very frightened dog. She'd never been held, kissed or loved and all that was about to change.

Faith can be a bit timid at first, and needs to approach a person on her own. Her body tenses up in your arms. After a short while with Faith, she turns into a velcro dog! She loves to be with her person and likes to use them as her personal jungle gym. Faith is good with most other dogs, but can be a bit bossy. It will take her a few days to settle into a new home and figure out her place. But, she is a lover. She lives for having her belly rubbed and giving kisses, but has a protective side. When strangers approach faith when she's with her special someone, she will let out a little growl or a yap and then scamper behind her person until she feels safe. She is a young dog and due to her past, she needs a little convincing. She is cute as a button though and is starting to play now. She does walk on a leash but tends to do circles around her person, so she'll need some guidance with that.  A little love goes a long way with Faith and we know she will get the hang of it. Faith is fine with cats. We do know that Faith will be best in a home with ONE person, preferrably female, and NO children.  We will not place her in a home with any other circumstances. She does fine with visitors, but definitely doesn't want to share her person's attention for too long.
