Jezzie is a 1 year old terrier mix who found herself in a very scary, high kill dog pound. Adoptions at this shelter are few and far in between and poor Jezzie had mange and stood no chance. Thanks to a beautiful team of animal rescuers, Jezzie's prayers were answered and she was transported to safety with BP&SBR.
Jezzie arrived in rescue and moved into her foster home. Jezzie had demodectic mange- a non contagious form of mange causing hairloss and painful skin irritation. After several weeks of medication, Jezzie is looking great. We're not sure of her exact breed mix, but we think she's a mix of sweet with a sprinkle of sugar. She's a doll. She is a bit timid but warms up to her people with a little time. She is always sweet. She is very dog friendly and working hard on her house manners. Her foster mom reports that she is doing very well. She doesn't seem to be much of a barker either.
Jezzie needs a forever home with a patient, loving family. Children 8+ would be best. She would do fine in a home with other dogs of any size. We're not sure about cats, but could cat test her. If you'd like to adopt Jezzie, please submit your adoption application today.
