Sadie is a gorgeous pug lady who was saved by one of our rescue friends on the way to a very high kill dog pound because her owners no longer wanted her. Of course they had to stress the fact that she was AKC. Well, that paperwork was filed nicely into our garbage can and we feel the most important thing about Sadie is that she is an amazing dog!!

Sadie is very sweet and gentle! She gets along great wth her foster brother, Ben and her foster feline sibling, Buttercup. Sadie lets Buttercup be the boss. Sadie loves to sit on chairs (silly girl) but that also means she loves to sit beside her person whenever she can. She is very friendly with everyone, even the 7 year old visitor to her foster home.

Sadie is a good eater and will clean her bowl. However, this also means, Sadie can get chunky very easily and needs to eat a measured portion and not be fed freely in order to keep her pretty pug physique.

Sadie seems to have had some training. She is housebroken and has some manners. Her foster mom tried gating her in the kitchen the first night, but she cried an eventually made her way to the bedroom. She slept the whole night without another sound.
