Say Hello to our very petite boston gal, Dixie! Dixie's owner dumped her and her friend Katie at a very high kill dog pound because she suspected that they killed one of her chickens! Talk about the death penalty! Well, we put a stop to that! Katie and Dixie are now in rescue with us and we're so thrilled to have them.

Dixie is a sweet girl. She's about 8 lbs and a bit on the thin side. She arrived with a terrible cold that she caught at the shelter but she's on medication and improving. She'll be good as new soon! Dixie's foster family loves having her around. She loves to snuggle and will sop up every bit of love she can get. She is good with the other dogs in her foster home and friendly with everyone. Dixie is also doing great with her housebreaking and has only had one accident since arriving. She would \make an excellent addition to almost any home. We think she would be just fine with children 8+ and we can't wait for her to be feeling her best because her personality will certainly shine through a bit more.
