It's impossible to not fall in love with little Miss Lola! This 3 year old pug lady came to us after being tossed from home to home. Lola came from a breeder. A family wanted to purchase her breeding mate, but the breeder refused to split them. So, Lola and her partner were purchased. Within a few days, Lola was sold to another person who promptly returned her when it became clear that Lola and their dog were not going to get along. After Lola acted snotty towards their cat, her owners threw in the towel and planned to have her euthanized!

Well, we were not going to let that happen. Lola is now with us safe and sound in rescue. She needs to pack on a few pounds to complete her pug physique, but is otherwise in very good health. She's about 15lbs now. Lola is a fantastic snuggle bug. She is submissive towards people and has no problem napping in your arms on her back. As fantastic as Lola is with people, she doesn't share the same affection towards other animals. Lola needs to be the only pet in the home. She doesn't care for other dogs, or cats. However, if on a walk, she is not reactive to others but doesn't like sharing her space with them.

Lola is a very smart girl. She knows “sit” and uses puppy pads for her tinkle. She will need further training, but it's coming along. She does enjoy stuffed toys sometimes and loves to hop around on her bed and be goofy. Lola also is very agile. She can hop over baby gates or easily get up on the couch or up into your lap. She walks well on a leash with a harness and is very good with children.
