Blush is a lovely little girl who came to BP&SBR from a kill shelter in Kentucky. She had been picked up as a stray and no one came to claim her.
Blush is about 1 year old and 20 lbs. We’re not certain of her mix, but she has a tall, lean body like a whippet and then the markings of a beagle. She might even be part Sheltie, but we’re not sure. Either way, Blush is a unique sturdy small dog who would make a wonderful new addition to an active family. Blush loves to play with toys and enjoys bones. She knows how to fetch, but does get a little overly excited at times. Blush gets along well with other dogs. She is being fostered with a much larger handsome Boxer boy and they are getting along well together. Blush is pretty new to our rescue, but thus far, she appears to be housebroken. She walks on the leash pretty well but does pull a little bit. She is also extremely agile and would really enjoy a fenced in yard or an owner interested in pursuing agility training.
Blush would do fine in a home with other dogs who enjoy playing. She would also do well with children 8 years or older. She is quite active and still has some puppy in her. If you’d like to make Blush part of your family, please submit your adoption application today!
