Miki is a darling boy. He's about 36 lbs and a super handsome Corgi mix. Miki came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. His owners had surrendered her because he had run through their electric fence. There is no way we could leave this bundle of fun behind.
Miki made the long trip to New York and into his foster home. The shelter workers, transporters and his foster parents rave about Miki. He is such a happy boy. His little tail is always going non stop. His eyes are a beautiful amber color and he at first had a patch of missing hair from an old burn, but that is now filling in beautifully. Miki is great with other playful dogs. In true Corgi fashion, he just loves to play! He is doing great with his housetraining and already knows a few commands. He also walks wonderfully on the leash! Miki is good with children, but tends to take his treats quickly. He could use some further training with this but there is no substitute for proper supervision. Children 8+ would be best. Miki is not sold on cats. We don't think he would hurt them but he is not very welcoming of them so a home without cats would be best for Miki.
He is quite the catch! If you are searching for a truly nice little gentleman, Miki is your guy! If you'd like to adopt Miki, please submit an adoption application today!
