Lily is a beautiful senior Spaniel Mix. She was picked up as a stray and taken to a kill shelter. Lily did not do well in the shelter. The noise and chaos frightened her terribly. She joined our rescue so we could help this sweet little lady find a wonderful new home in a stress free environment.

Lily is about 16 lbs. She is very much a lap dog and loves snuggling and getting her belly rubbed. It's very sad for us to see our senior furry friends homeless. They deserve so much better than that. Lily is a very easy dog to care for. She is not mischievous or barky. She doesn't want to go outside and run a marathon- just a few short walks a day make her happy. She longs for someone to love her and was so content sitting on one of our volunteer's laps getting her hair brushed and being pet. She must have been someone's companion because she will faithfully sit by your side or on your lap for hours lifting her head every so often just to let you know she's happy that you're beside her.

Lily is looking for a new, laid back home with a special someone that will make her golden years the best years of her life. She is a healthy older gal. Living on concrete in the shelter has left her a little sore, but we're going to provide her with some pain relief and make sure that she sleeps in a cozy bed which will solve this problem. She gets along best with other laid back dogs. Lily is housebroken and crate trained. When she goes outside, she promptly goes to work seeking out a place to go. She also sleeps quietly in her crate at night.

Lily is now searching for a loving forever home with someone that wants her companionship as much as she wants yours. Lily will be going in to be spayed in a few days and will then be ready for her forever home.
