Meet China! Although we're a small breed rescue primarily, this little pup was in need of a safe place and has now joined our rescue.

China is just a pup- about 12-16 weeks old and quite a stocky little lady. China was being peddled from person to person raving about her excellent breeding potential and much worse! She finally landed in the right hands and our rescue was contacted. When we first met China, we thought she was fawn colored. After a few baths, a pretty white China Doll emerged; hence her name. All that filth has been washed down the drain and it's time for China to know and feel loved.

China is young and this is a pivotal time in her life. She is living in a home with other dogs- both large and small as well as a cat. There are also young children in the home. She is being well socialized now so she can develop into a wonderful adult. Not only is she wonderful with everyone; she's quite the snuggler and adores her foster family. China is beginning to learn new manners including basic commands, crate training and where good girls go to the bathroom.

China is an american bulldog mix.  She is going to grow to be a large dog and we expect her to be 70-80lbs as an adult. China will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption. With continued socialization and training she will grow to be a beautiful member of the right family.

Here's what we are looking for in an adopter:

-We'd like China to join an active family that will allow her to release her puppy energy in a positive fashion. A fenced in yard or jogging buddy would be ideal.

-Due to housing restrictions regarding pit bulls and mixes, her new family must own their home.

-We think she would do fine with children, other dogs and cats, however it is important that she continues to interact with others in and out of the home. This helps all puppies develop and become social furry members of society. Breed experience would be a plus but it is not mandatory.

-China needs a family that is committed to training and willing to take her to obedience classes to help develop a very solid bond with her people.

-Positive vet reference is a must.
