After spending 9 years as someone's faithful companion, Granny was dumped in a high kill shelter. The only thing her owner said was that they would like her to find a nice home. Thanks to the hardworking shelter workers & volunteers, Granny was placed in a temporary foster home until she could be transported to us!

Granny is amazing! We all love her so! She is very friendly and such a wonderful little companion. If you have not met & loved an old lady pug, you are missing out! Granny gets along well with other dogs and wouldn't pay any mind to a feline friend. She would prefer to spend her time wit more laid back dogs rather than young bouncing puppies. She loves to spend her day doing what senior dogs do best- napping and adoring her person! She is housebroken, and although she doesn't care for the crate, she is crate trained. She does do the infamous pug potty dance when she goes to the bathroom. That involves a little wiggle and a kick and then she's ready to come back inside. Her foster dad allows Granny lots of freedom. She is far beyond the puppy stage of her life and isn't going to get in much trouble when home alone.

We think Granny would really enjoy a home with a few, very loving adults. She is friendly towards children, but young children are not quite her speed. She isn't very playful or interested in toys, but if you bring her onto the couch with you, she will soak up all the lovin' and snuggling that you can give.
