Fox is a little peanut of a chihuahua. He ended up in a shelter after police raided his home for drugs. But, don't you worry! Fox is a good boy!

Fox is very friendly with other dogs. He loves to goof around and REALLY likes the ladies- a bit too much. He was just neutered a few days ago, much to his chagrin. He thinks he is a big tough guy, but in actuality, he is about 4-5lbs and that's it. Fox is cat friendly as well.

He is a funny little guy. He is friendly but is not immediately trusting of people. He arrived late at night and spent the night with one of our volunteers. Once he arrived in her home, he was smitten. The next day, his long term foster mom came to pick him up and he was not havin' it! Even though he threw a little tantrum, he went home with her and the next day she reported that he was again smitten. If you're interested in adopting Fox, you can assume that he is not going to knock your socks off right away but after a few hours in his new home, he will come around. We're not so sure about his background and how he was treated in his last home, but he is uncomfortable when picked up. Once he knows you, he is much more tolerant of being picked up and held.

Fox walks well on a leash and has some training, though we're working on refreshing his manners. He needs an owner who will continue reinforcing good behavior. Because of his nervousness around new people, we feel fox would do best in a home without children. He is a very quiet and happy little guy who deserves to have a fairy tale life.
