Roxy is a wonderful 9 year old black puggy girl! She was surrendered to our rescue with her buddy, Godric because her family no longer had the time to care for them.

Roxy is a precious little girl. She is quite a chunky little lady but she is as sweet as they come. Roxy is housebroken and loves children. She even sleeps with the kids at night in her foster home. She is a pug and loves to eat! Her new family must be willing to control her eating habits- maybe even consider feeding dog food that is specifically for overweight dogs. Roxy is very friendly and just loves everyone. She is great with other dogs and is looking for a very special forever home.

We got sad news the other day when Roxy went to see our vet. She has a small lump on her chest that was determined to be Mast Cell Cancer. We moved forward with Roxy's surgery as well as had a scan done to detect other cancerous growths. Fortunately, her scan showed that there were no other areas of concern and Roxy has recovered well.
