Meet Lucas! This handsome boxer boy was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter by his owners. They said that they just didn't want him anymore. FOOLS! Lucas has now joined our rescue and is settling into his foster home.

So far, Lucas has been doing great. He is a SUPER friendly, HAPPY and WIGGLY boy!! He loves other dogs and is happy to rough-house with other large dogs and goof around with the little dogs too. Lucas is so affectionate. It's hard not to grab his face and just kiss it all day long. He has the coolest markings too- as well as the trademark docked tail. Lucas is pretty well behaved. He has been going potty in the backyard like a good boy and appears to be housebroken. He is tolerant of the cat in his foster home too. He is a fairly high energy dog- which is true to the breed. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard so he can properly release all of his energy and come inside to snuggle with his people.

This boy is a lover. He is happy to lean in for a hug or lick your face. We just can't imagine how disappointed this poor boy must have been after giving all that love to his people and in return being dumped in a shelter. At just 1 year old, Lucas has a long life ahead of him and he is looking for a great family to share his life with. He needs a family that is serious about adopting and promising him a forever home.
