Please welcome our strikingly handsome, senior boy, Augustus! This little guy was picked up as a stray and taken to an overcrowded shelter. He was lucky enough to go into a foster home with a wonderful toothless poodle-lovin' couple for 2 months while waiting on a forever home to come along. Buffalo Pug was asked to help work our magic and find this little king the home he's deserved all along!

Augustus is at least 10 years old and he is toothless. He is eating a softened kibble diet which makes feeding this guy very easy- and it makes eating easy on him while he gets the nutrition that he needs. Augustus is a little hand shy at first, but that seems to go away rather quickly as he gets to know his people. He really enjoys the other dogs and we'd love to find him a home with another laid back or senior companion. He also appears to be mostly housebroken. His previous foster mom reports that he only had 2 accidents when he was with her and since coming here, he's only done his duty outside. He really seems to enjoy going out in the yard and exploring.

Augustus is in great health considering his age. His heart is strong and we know there is someone out there willing to love this little old man! We understand that a senior dog is not a good fit for everyone, but Augustus deserves to live the good life- with a home and family or person of his own. It is the very least we can do for our sweet seniors that would otherwise be forgotten.
