WOAH! Jaycee has been groomed and we hardly recognized her after all that fur was cut away! This cutie pie was surrendered to a high kill shelter and given the label of “not good with children” which certainly wasn't helping her chances of being adopted. We offered to help her out and she has now settled into her foster home.

Now, don't give up on this beauty yet. Jaycee is not mean, aggressive or nippy. Jaycee can just be a little nervous at times. She just needs a little time to get to know people. She almost instantly bonds with women, and after a few days, she started to adore her foster Dad as well. Don't let that label paint the wrong picture of our Jaycee. During her first few days in her foster home was when she was the very nervous, but she didn't run around chewing anyone's toes off, she simply kept to herself, hung out with the other dogs and sniffed around. We agree that Jaycee is going to be happiest in a home without children. She'd love to have a mom or a dad or both to cuddle with and adore. Her foster parent's grandchildren do visit and there have been no problems. With proper supervision, visiting children would be just fine. Jaycee is housebroken, up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and walks well on a leash. She is also GREAT with other dogs and would probably tolerate cats just fine!
