Allie found herself in an overcrowded shelter down south. After one look at those big brown sad eyes, we knew we had to help her. Afterall, Allie is just a puppy- at 9 months old and deserved to have a family, a home and lots of love. Being behind bars in a big, scary, loud shelter was no place for this pretty young girl.

Allie is one of the most wonderful girls we've ever met. Allie is a gentle, mild mannered girl. She can be a little bit shy, but she really loves being loved. When you say her name, her little tail thumps happily. She leans into every single pet and is just a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful family. Allie is great with other dogs- and much more of a follower than a leader. From what we know about Allie, she is definitely not a barker either. She is working on learning good bathroom habits in her foster home and will need some further reinforcement, but she is a smart girl who loves to please so training her won't be too hard. We think Allie would do well in a home with or without children. The most important thing is that Allie needs a home where she will know love- with someone not afraid to hug and adore her. She deserves it and has gone long enough feeling unloved. 

Allie is already spayed, vaccinated and has been tested for heartworm and placed on preventative. She is absolutely beautiful and just a bit on the thin side.
