DeeDee is a plesant 7 year old Yorkie who found herself in an overcrowded shelter when her owner passed away. DeeDee has now joined our foster home and settled into her foster home just perfectly.

DeeDee is a sweet girl. She loves attention and affection and likes to follow her foster mom around the house and the yard. DeeDee does just fine with other dogs and cats, but is a lady and would prefer a calm canine sibling and not a bouncing puppy.

We'd like to find DeeDee a home with an adult companion or couple who has the time to give DeeDee lots of love and affection. She is good with children, but is fairly laid back and we think she'd prefer a home that isn't too busy or chaotic. DeeDee is a little doll who has quickly stole her foster mom's heart. She is quite friendly and likes to give kisses too! DeeDee is working on her potty manners and doing very well. She will use puppy pads if provided and it seems that she had been trained to use puppy pads previously. Her foster mom is encouraging her to go outside now and she is catching on. Her new family should expect to continue working to reinforce this behavior.
