Please meet our little darling Capri- and when we say little, we mean it! This little peanut is only 7 lbs but packed with love!
Capri's story is truly heartbreaking. She and 4 others were taken to a local vet to be euthanized because they were “no longer needed.” The vet quickly refused and rescue was found for all 5. With open arms, Capri came to our rescue to finally begin her life as a dog. Capri has recently had a litter of pups, or so her tummy suggests. She is said to be a mixture of Jack Russell and Boston Terrier but she looks a lot like a chihuahua.
Capri can be a timid girl at first, but she leans into you as you pet her. She really needs a mom, and seems to favor females, though she wouldn't turn away a man's affection and attention. Capri is great with other dogs, likes to be held & snuggle under the covers. She is working hard on her potty training. In her foster home, she always has access to the backyard so her accidents are minimal. There are young children that visit her foster home and she tends to just mind her business. She is not fond of loud noises or lots of commotion so during those times, Capri picks a spot and relaxes away from the activity. She really enjoys the other dogs and doesn't mind the cat either.
Capri has been spayed, vaccinated and had a dental done. She had 3 teeth pulled during her dental and is in tip top shape! Capri's family is going to be a very lucky one! If you'd like to adopt Capri, submit your adoption application today!
