Pugsley is a very sweet and loving pug boy, his owner could not care for his medical needs and so he was surrendered to Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue.

Pugsley is a very calm guy who loves to snuggle and have his belly rubbed.  He loves to run around and play with toys and generally have a good time.  Once he gets attached to you, he'll want to be with you as often as possible, just laying next to you as you watch TV or read a book.

Pugsley was on medical hold due to some medical problems he had, but today (8/24/2011) he went to the vet and got a clean bill of health ! 

Pugsley's ears will need to be monitored and cleaned routinely to ensure they don't get infected again.  He is on some medication to kill off the infection and will continue them until they are gone, but as of now, his ears are clear! 

He also has some pigmentary keratitis, so the doctor is recommending that he have eye drops administered at daily for life.

Pugsley also has caught Lyme disease and will need a yearly booster shot.

His weight when he came in, was 23 lbs. and he is now down to 18, so he's well on his way to becoming a healthy slim pug!
