King Charles is a handsome 2.5 year old pug surrendered to an overcrowded shelter by his owners. This happy go lucky boy is now in rescue and searching for his very own forever home!
King Charles has danced his way into his foster mom's heart. He is an active, outgoing, affectionate boy! He loves his toys and usually has them strewn across the living room. What King Charles loves more than his toys is his people. He instantly bonded with his foster family and is usually by their side or running towards them with a toy hoping they will play fetch with him! King Charles has gone for a few car rides and seems to enjoy them. He always hops right in ready to see the sights!
King Charles gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is also good with children but can sometimes play rough so we feel children 6 years or older would be best. He is doing great with his house training and has only had one accident since coming into his foster home. He is crate trained and relaxes in his crate while his foster family is away. He never makes a mess in there and does his business as soon as he goes outside. King also loves his walks. He is rather active for a pug, so we feel he would do best in a more active home. Although King loves to be outside and to play, his forever family must understand that pugs are sensitive to the heat and can overheat quite easily. Proper precautions will need to be taken to ensure King gets the exercise he needs safely!
